Norske Skog increased all export prices from Australia and New Zealand to Asian markets by 5-10%

Norske Skog, a global leader in production of newsprint and magazine paper, announced a price increase for all exports from Australia and New Zealand to Asian markets, effective April 1, 2017. According  to the announcement, the price increase will be in the range of 5-10%, depending on the underlying cost increase applying to the relevant market and customer.

The company explains the increase with a necessity to address higher production and shipping costs.

Earlier Norske Skog reported decrease of gross operating earnings (EBITDA) in 4Q2016 by 12% from the previous quarter.
