Altri decreased EBITDA margin to 25.1% in 1Q2017

Altri, a leading Portuguese pulp producer, reported 23% decrease of EBITDA amid 1.2% decrease of revenues in 1Q2017 y-o-y. According to the announcement, the company’s revenues accounted for EUR 159.8 million, generating EBITDA of EUR 40.1 million in the period (25.1% margin).

In 4Q2017 Altri reported 33% decrease of EBITDA amid 6.7% decrease of revenues.

Earlier Altri Group announced an investment into the brown stock washing process upgrade at its mill in Portugal.

The company is a leading Portuguese pulp producer. Its main focus is the production of bleached eucalyptus pulp, being one of the lowest cost producers in Europe.
