Equipment producer HOMAG introduced Industry 4.0 solution for the wood industry

The HOMAG Group introduced Tapio – the first digital platform for the wood industry.

According to the announcement, the solution combines digital products of the entire wood industry with thousands of production machines and a wide range of materials and tools within an integrated Internet of Things (IoT) platform. The platform completely covers the value chain of the wood industry.

Earlier the HOMAG Group AG increased its stake in BENZ GmbH Werkzeugsysteme, Haslach i.K. and Rheinau, from 51% to 75%.
