Koehler, a leading manufacturer of thermal papers, increases prices by 7% from July 1, 2017

Papierfabrik August Koehler SE, a leading manufacturer of thermal papers, announced 7% global price increase for deliveries from July 1, 2017 onwards.

The company explains the step with significant cost increases for pulp and other raw materials, chemicals and logistics.

Previously the company announced 7% global price increase for deliveries from May 15, 2017.

The company is specialized in high-quality special papers in the segments of: thermal, carbonless, fine, technical speciality, colored and decor papers as well as wood pulp board. It has a turnover of EUR 675 million and sells around 500kt of paper annually. Koehler has four production locations in Germany: Oberkirch (HQ), Kehl, Greiz and Weisenbach. It employs around  1800 people.
