Kraton increases prices for Rosin Ester, Terpene and AMS/AMS Phenolic Product lines from July 1, 2017

Kraton Corporation, a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers, specialty polymers and high-value performance products derived from pine wood pulping co-products, announced a global price increase of USD 50-100/MT for AQUATAC™, SYLVALITE™ and SYLVATAC™, and SYLVACOTE™ Rosin Ester product lines.

SYLVARES™ and ZONATAC™ Terpene and AMS/AMS phenolic specialty product lines will see an increase from USD 200-500/MT. The increase is due to the current changing market condition in the chemical industry, which has been impacted by higher prices for raw materials.

According to the announcement, the price increase may vary depending on product composition and delivery locations. Subject to the terms of any applicable contract, the price increase for these products will take effect July 1, 2017.

Earlier Kraton Corporation opened a new hydrogenated styrenic block copolymer production plant in Taiwan.
