Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill upgrades coater machine at its facility in Ukraine

Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill (CPM) signed a contract with Bellmer for an upgrade of a coater machine at its mill in Ukraine.

With the upgrade the company plans to increase the speed of the coater up to 400m/min, to install IR dryer and a new coating unit. Kyiv CPM also expects to reduce steam consumption and improve the coated boards quality.

According to the announcement, this is the first stage of the large project approved by the company’s supervisory board.  The first step will be realized in April 2018.

Earlier Kyiv CPM announced an upgrade of press of TM-2 and invested into a new Pope Reel with central cut unit, web stabilizing system, shaft puller, spool storage, core lifter and finished reel lifting table at its mill in Ukraine.
