Pfleiderer Group expands use of recycled wood in particleboard production at its Neumarkt plant in Germany. According to the announcement, the company placed an order with Dieffenbacher for screen and sifter technology as well as a sensor-based X-ray sorting process. The commissioning of the equipment is planned for January 2018.

With use of the new technology, Pfleiderer expects to significantly increase the proportion of recycled wood in the production of particleboard while retaining the same high level of panel quality.
