Rottneros informed that production in the Vallvik Mill had been affected by an unplanned shutdown due to leakage within the recovery boiler. According to the company’s information, the problem is now resolved and production is back to normal.
The shutdown represents an estimated production loss of about 4,500 tonnes in 2Q2017, corresponding to approximately 7.5% of mill’s planned output and about 4.5%of the group’s total planned output for the quarter.
Earlier Rottneros informed about an agreement on debt financing within the framework of the investment program Agenda 500.
