SCA limits conversion of Class A shares in Class B shares due to the split into forest products and hygiene and health companies

SCA informs that Conversion of Class A shares in SCA will be limited during the period until the distribution of Essity Aktiebolag (publ).

According to the announcement, for practical reasons, requests for conversion during the period until the distribution of Essity Aktiebolag (publ) (previously SCA Hygiene AB), must be made no later than May 15, 2017, for the conversion to be registered before distribution.

In August 2016 SCA, at the request of shareholders, converted 11,250 Class A shares to Class B shares. The total number of votes in the company thereafter amounts to 1,288,711,242.

 

Earlier SCA announced changes in the company’s financial reporting due to the split into forest products and hygiene and health companies.
