Setra appointed a new manager at its wood processing unit in Sweden

Wood products company Setra appointed Sara Westberg as the new manager of Setra’s processing unit in Skutskär, Sweden. She will take up her new position at Setra on June 1, 2017.

Sara Westberg joins Setra from a position where she was responsible for dispatch and packaging at BillerudKorsnäs in Gävle.

Hannele Arvonen, Setra’s CEO, commented:

“We are delighted to welcome Sara Westberg to Setra and Skutskär. Sara has completely the right background to lead the continued development of this operation. Her management experience and her major interest in and commitment to sustainability and leadership will be extremely useful.”

 

Skutskär’s operations include planing, pressure treatment and painting. The unit handles 97,000 m3 of processed wood every year.

Earlier Bergs Timber entered into an agreement to acquire the sawmilling operations in Vimmerby from Setra Trävaror AB.
