Tembec decreased EBITDA margin to 9.3% in March 2017 quarter

Tembec reported consolidated sales for the three-month period ended March 25, 2017 of CAD 387 million, as compared to CAD 380 million in the same quarter a year ago.

The company generated operating earnings before depreciation, amortization and other items (adjusted EBITDA) of CAD 54 million for the three-month period ended March 25, 2017, as compared to adjusted EBITDA of CAD 36 million a year ago and adjusted EBITDA of CAD34 million in the prior quarter.

For the three-month period ended in December 2016, the company reported CAD 370 million consolidated sales.
